John was super helpful and so nice. The beautiful bamboo we got is flourishing in our backyard.

Can't say enough good things about this place. John is incredibly kind, patient and informative. He has so many varieties to choose from. He made my first bamboo buying experience easy. When my bamboo had broken at the top during transport, Miles, the delivery man, immediately noticed it and, that same day, picked up another one in the same variety that was in perfect and healthy condition. Highly recommend.

John was absolutely lovely to meet, talk to, and learn from. He made specific recommendations for our space/light/wind conditions. My partner and I wanted bamboo for some privacy from neighbors but were totally ignorant about its care or which plant(s) would be appropriate. John helped us find the perfect plants and set us up with fertilizer and care tips so we can be successful. I'd recommend John and this business to anyone looking for bamboo. Thank you John and Kiki for being the brightest part of our day!

I’ve visited this place many times and have consistently had great experiences. The owner, Jon, really makes it special—his enthusiasm, support, and patience (especially with all my questions) create such a welcoming atmosphere. His knowledge and insight have helped me refine my vision for my garden, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about helping others learn and grow. Overall, it’s a great vibe and definitely worth checking out—even if you’re just curious to learn more about bamboo!

We bought a gorgeous specimen from John last summer to start our bamboo collection. He gave us great advice and we shared our garden layout and future plans so he could provide his recommendation. The bunch we planted is doing great and has several robust shoots coming up this year, which is just what we had hoped for. Can’t wait to come back soon for more beautiful bamboo as e we develop our overall zen garden.
